It took years for my mother to admit she had a chemical dependence. Her addiction caused much pain and sorrow in our family and childhood was not very pleasant for me. As I got older and figured out that my mother was actually suffering from a chemical dependence I decided to find help for her. After doing some research on drug and alcohol treatment program I decided to have an intervention done on my mother. My mother went into drug and alcohol treatment program two years ago and today she is the mother I always wanted her to be.

My father is in prison due to his substance abuse and will be getting out next year if he makes it that long. What can I do to get him into an drug treatment center when he gets out on parole? I don't want him to have a substance abuse relapse once he is free. If there an drug treatment center that will take him straight from prison?
